As a photojournalism major I am extremely interested in photography and telling stories through it. Multimedia storytelling is a new way of creating a photo story, but adds audio and/or video to it. I find this tool very effective and want to learn how to use audio and video to make my photography stronger and more interesting. Also, because it is new I think being able to incorporate these things into my photography is a very important skill to have. I’m really excited to build my portfolio this semester with new (and hopefully awesome) images and multimedia pieces. Although I have worked with audio and created a few sound slides pieces, I am not that familiar with video and am excited to learn about the technology and create some new pieces!!
